New Membership Information

Please complete the form below if you would like to join the AOCC.
The day we receive your membership fee will be your membership registration date. Your first year of membership will run from this date until the end of the following March (end of AOCC financial year). Subsequently, annual membership fee will be charged for each 12-month financial period.
(If you are paying by credit card, the day your card transaction is approved by the credit card company will be your membership registration date.)
No refund on membership fee will be made even if you withdraw from the organization while your membership is still current.

Y-AOCC

The Y-AOCC membership covers medical doctors, residents, graduate students and undergraduates under 40 years of age.

[How to join]
Persons wishing to join should apply through from the AOCC website.

After completing the procedure, please send documentation allowing confirmation of age to the office address by fax or email.
Membership will become official once the membership fee has been received.
Members will automatically become ordinary members from the financial year after they turn 40.
If membership fees for several years are paid, we will request payment of the difference for the years after the member turns 40.

Call for observer countries

The Asian Organization for Crohn’s and Colitis (AOCC) was founded in 2013 to improve the care of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients in Asia. AOCC has been managed by China, Korea, and Japan as founders. Now, AOCC is going to open door widely to other Asian countries, which means that AOCC is accepting observer countries.

Qualification of application for Observer Countries of AOCC:
(1) There shall be an organization of inflammatory bowel disease or gastroenterology
　　　　in the applicant country.
(2) The applicant country shall accept the Articles of AOCC.
(3) No membership fee, but we strongly encourage the applicants to promote individual membership of AOCC in their country.
Procedures of application for Observer Countries of AOCC:
(1)   A national representative should be selected by the organization of the applicant country.
(2)   The national representative should be an individual member of AOCC.
(3)   The national representative fills in a fixed Application Form and sends it to AOCC Office.
(4)   The application shall be discussed and approved by the Governing Board of AOCC.
Benefits and duty of Observer Countries of AOCC:
(1) The national representatives shall attend a Governing Board meeting as observer
　　　 without the right to vote.
(2) The rest of the right and duty shall be the same as the Board countries.
